Congratulations Philip
We are proud to share that service user Philip Allen has been selected as closing plenary speaker for the Royal College of Occupational Therapists national conference 2019. Philip is a former solicitor who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in 2010 and he will be sharing his story about recovering, relearning and rebuilding his life with the support of family, friends and professionals. Philip recently presented at the north west regional occupational therapy conference and gave a lecture alongside case manager Gillian Gorry, on evidence based practice at the University of Cumbria. NCM raises money for local Mustard Tree charity
Through baking and eating lots of cakes (it was a hard job !!), wearing silly Xmas Jumpers and by donating the money we would have spent on sending each other Xmas Cards, NCM have raised £148.05 for the local charity Mustard Tree, based in Manchester. This is me all ready for my trip to the theatre to watch the Bodyguard . I love going to watch live shows and I am lucky to get to the theatre often . I loved the bodyguard I really enjoyed singing along to all the Whitney Houston songs .
